Welcome to my site!
You must be wondering why I called it e.m.e.r.g.e…ing place and what inspired me to choose this name.
e.m.e.r.g.e…ing place is the place for empowering, mentoring, everyone for renewal, growth and effectiveness for life and ministry!
For you to be healed and restored to wholeness in your spirit, soul and body after all the batterings in your life’s journey, you need to set aside time for the Lord to empower you, to renew your zeal and courage for life and ministry again. You can then grow stronger in faith and walk more victoriously in your daily life.
This is especially so if you had gone through the daily grind of life’s changes, challenges and traumatic circumstances as well as bitter onslaughts from people around you that had built up an internal reservoir of negative emotions and great pain that seem to torment you daily. No matter what you do, they still seem to linger stubbornly at the back of your mind, to remind you of your past and your pain.
You need the Lord to heal you, restore you and set you free!
That is basically what e.m.e.r.g.e…ing place is all about.
It seeks to bring the hearts of people who have weathered through the storms of life but during the journey had become hurt, disillusioned, discouraged, burnt-out and lost the joy of living, to the Lord.
It seeks to address past issues, bring them to Jesus and allow Him to bring about healing and wholeness into the spirit, soul and body, by following the 7Rs:
- Repenting from our sins
- Resisting the temptations of the flesh and the enemy
- Renewing our mind and emotions
- Rebuilding and realigning our life according to God’s Word
- Reviving our spirit by yielding to the work of the Holy Spirit
- Revering God in our thoughts, words and deeds
- Ruling by taking authority over our spheres of influence
The Lord has laid within me the passion for walking people out of the stronghold of the past like anti-Christ beliefs and worship, rejection, sexual immorality, addictions, anger, rage, hatred, anxieties, bitterness and many others.
So it is with a heart that I endeavour to fully submit to God and His leading that I birthed this. I pray that it will help Christians who visit this site to have encounters with God that will transform, renew and revive them to rule with authority the inheritance that God has endowed them with.
In obedience to this passion that God has given me to help facilitate the healing work of the Holy Spirit in lives, I set aside a whole year to receive further training and equipping in this healing and discipleship ministry at the Ellel International Ministries in the United Kingdom.
In this site, I have put together some prayers that can serve as a guide for prayer for people with different needs. But they are not “magic” formulas.
For our lives are in God’s hand and in His sovereignty He does whatever He pleases! But PRAY, we must for our prayers show our dependence upon Him who is the source of our strength, wisdom and power.
